Responsible for processing personal data

DOGA, through the managing director, is responsible for processing the company's personal data. It is voluntary to visit the websites to provide personal information in connection with services such as receiving newsletters or signing up for events and courses.

Web analysis and cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you download a website. Storage of information and processing of this information is not permitted unless the user has both been informed about and consented to the processing. The user must be informed about and approve information that is processed, what the purpose of the processing is and who processes the information, cf. the Electronic Communications Act § 2-7b.

As an important part of the work to create a user-friendly website, we look at the user pattern of those who visit the website. DOGA.no uses cookies to find information about how users navigate the site. All information collected will only be used internally for analysis purposes, and we do not share data with third parties. We never store information that can identify the user personally.

The following cookies are used on doga.no

• Google Analytics: used to see which pages drive traffic to the page and which actions the user takes while on the page. The information collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google's servers in the USA. Information received is subject to Google's privacy policy and the user's IP address is anonymised.

  • HotJar is used for analysis and improvement of the website. This is a tool that is used for a temporary period of time to analyze how the design and content on the website works, and must answer whether the user finds what they are looking for. ID cannot be traced to user.
  • SumoMe: Collects and analyzes data related to website usage and manages the display of the form/pop-up used to register as a subscriber to our newsletter. SumoMe is also used to manage social plugins on DOGA.no, such as Facebook's "Like" button or Twitter's "Like" and other "Share" buttons. Even if such buttons or plugins are displayed as part of our websites, the content and functionality are linked directly to the service provider in question.

Video playback
DOGA.no uses the video player services Vimeo and YouTube on its pages. Both services collect data when you play a video. The data is used, among other things, to see how many people watch and how long a video is watched.

Live broadcast
At many of our events we have livebroadcasting/streaming. When you use the player, it collects traffic data which, among other things, shows how many and how long you watch the live broadcast. Google and Vimeo are data processors.

Newsletter
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, you must enter your e-mail address. Your email address is not shared with other businesses and is deleted when we are notified that you no longer wish to receive information from us. The information is also deleted if we receive feedback that the e-mail address is no longer active. Mailchimp is the data processor for the newsletter. In connection with sending out newsletters, we keep statistics on usage, how many people read and what is read. This allows us to be able to give our readers the most relevant news items possible. SumoMe is used to manage the display of the form/pop-up used to register as a subscriber to our newsletter.

Registration for courses and events
When you register for courses and events, we ask you to register your name, e-mail, telephone number, organization, organization number, position and invoice reference. Following participation, you will be able to receive a survey. The surveys are used to map user effects and obtain learning for upcoming courses and events. DOGA uses Questback to carry out the surveys. The personal information is not shared with others and is deleted after the event.

Your rights

In line with the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the EU's new personal data protection rules applicable from 1 July 2018, you have the right to access your own personal data, as well as a demand for correction or deletion of incomplete or incorrect information. You also have the right to demand restriction of and to object to the processing of personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to data portability, i.e. the right to receive personal information about yourself, and the right to transfer said information to another data controller.

All inquiries about access to personal data can be directed to DOGA by e-mail.
